Splendid Park

Western Australia's first UCI-standard criterium circuit — a purpose-built racing and community cycling facility driven by NBCC.

Western Australia's first UCI-standard criterium circuit

Splendid Park is a major facility for cycling in Western Australia and a flagship home for Northern Beaches Cycling Club. NBCC was the driving force behind the construction and use of the circuit, helping bring a purpose-built racing venue to Perth's northern suburbs.

1.4km asphalt circuit

The course is a 1.4km sealed asphalt circuit designed for criterium racing and club-level cycling activity.

6m wide track

The main circuit is 6 metres wide, giving riders a dedicated closed-course environment for racing and training.

8m finishing straight

The finishing straight is 8 metres wide for 200 metres, supporting safe, competitive sprint finishes.

Built for club racing, teams and events

The track includes a permanent pit area, registration shelter and bike racks. There are also dedicated spaces for club and team marquees on race days.

Registration shelter

A permanent shelter supports sign-on, race administration and event management.

Pit and bike areas

Dedicated pit areas and bike racks make race-day setup easier for riders, officials and volunteers.

Team marquee areas

Purpose-made spaces allow clubs and teams to set up cleanly during larger events.

Part of a broader community sport precinct

Splendid Park is more than a cycling circuit. Existing facilities around the precinct include ample parking, a kids playground, skate park, bar, change rooms and toilets, creating a venue that works for riders, families and spectators.

  • Access via Marmion Avenue
  • Yanchep Train Station less than 1km away
  • Suitable for kids learn-to-ride sessions, school competitions and criterium events
  • Youth squad training: Monday and Thursday afternoons from 4:30pm

A pathway venue for young riders and major events

NBCC's ambition for Splendid Park includes youth development, participation programs and state-level criterium events.

Learn to ride

A safe closed circuit is ideal for young riders building confidence and bike handling skills.

State-level racing

The circuit gives Perth's north a genuine platform for criterium racing and higher-level cycling events.
